REQUEST NEW / RESET PASSWORD

If you're unsure of your password or if it is not working, you can request a new one. An email with the password reset link should arrive within 30 minutes. Be sure and check your spam folder. If you're unable to reset your password, contact thegame@nypl.org.

WRITE ALL NIGHT

If you pre-registered or participated in the Write All Night event, you'll have to reset your password. Don't worry, this is a one-time thing. Directions will be sent by email.

There are two ways to play:

To play at the Library

Step 1

Download the Find the Future app to your iPhone (requires iOS 4.0 or later).

Also available for Android

Step 2

Visit the Library to unlock maps to each Artifact, learn their stories, and scan them with your camera to activate their special Powers. Collect their Powers by touching and holding your screen, and watch your Powers grow.

Step 3

Finish your adventure online, where the Artifacts you found at the Library can help you write and publish your own worldchanging Epic.

To play online

Step 1

Create your player.

Step 2

Visit the quests page to view artifacts and activate their powers.

Step 3

If you're inspired, complete the quest for each artifact by writing a story online.

Step 4

View other player's stories, like them, and add them to your own worldchanging Epic.
